Meet Our Team

Healing Chapter is guided by the value that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and supported. While the practice may be small, the care is intentional, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in connection.

Our work is grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed care, with a focus on creating a safe space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace.

Danielle Castillo, LPC-Associated

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Dr. Julieta Rubio Hobbs, LPC-S. I earned my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and am currently pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. My clinical work is grounded in a deep commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.

I work with individuals within the BIPOC community who are navigating grief, loss, and trauma. My approach honors the impact of systemic barriers, generational experiences, and cultural identity on mental health and healing.

Executive Assistance

Mildred Castillo

Mildred serves as a supportive assistant at Healing Chapter Counseling, PLLC. She is usually close by during sessions, offering quiet support and a calming presence. If she’s not nearby, she can often be found “sleeping on the job” in the corner of my office. Her presence adds warmth and comfort while sessions remain focused and private, and she often brings a small moment of cheerfulness and lightheartedness as sessions come to a close.
